About Us

Interm IT Limited all began in September 2000; however, our schools ICT support goes back beyond that time. The company started as 1 technician with 6 schools a week and has now evolved to 19 technicians supporting over 200 schools.

We are a family run organisation and have the majority of our business in Hertfordshire with a good number of schools in Essex, Suffolk and Buckinghamshire. We only advertise our services once a year; this is in the run up to April. However, this year we grew so much on recommendation alone that we did not send our brochures out to schools. The rest of the year we continue to grow the rest of the year through recommendation. This pattern has seen Interm IT grow its’ business by over 370% from Jan 2004 to Dec 2009.

We believe we are the largest company of its kind operating in Hertfordshire. Our reputation remains strong and is brought about by quality technicians who work very hard on behalf of their schools. Some of our technicians have been with us since 2001 and are still working in the same schools. The relationships formed with our schools are important to both Interm IT and technicians alike, as the association allows us to feel like we are part of the school team and not just an outsourced service.

Interm IT is a founder member of the RM ATSS scheme to support RM schools. Indeed as a company we value this service highly as the training enhances our technician’s abilities.

We have also forged excellent communications links with Hertfordshire County’s technical support team, SITSS, an association which goes back to April 2001 and which lends itself to increasing our overall effectiveness in schools. In fact should your school use the RM CC3 system you would qualify for a substantial discount in the event you employed Interm IT to look after the system through our joint support partnership package.
