FREE Consultancy
For schools that are both using Interm IT’s regular technical support and for those who are not, there is the opportunity to contact us to help you make informed decisions in your ICT development. We have been working in ICT in primary schools for over 7 years now and have a collective experience of over 30 years. Our Technical Director and one of the technicians are both governors in schools, so we feel in a position to offer advice to schools. We do not charge for advice, whether it be over the phone or from an arranged visit, it is free to all schools, therefore, please feel free to contact us for impartial, honest advice.
Interm IT has always been and will indeed remain an independent concern. As far as Interm IT is concerned we represent the schools which we service and will continue to provide advice that is in the best interest of the schools. We have no intention of recommending any company’s products solely on the basis of which company represents the best profit opportunity for Interm IT, this simply will not happen. Interm IT’s core service is it’s regular technical support to schools and we will not compromise our integrity for a quick buck, so to speak. Any products that are recommended by Interm IT to schools are based on quality, reliability and best value.
We will gladly examine any quote for you, again without charge, to ensure that you are not being over-sold or under-sold on your ICT. We can discuss whether or not your choices will be future-proof or whether you can achieve more from your existing equipment for another year or so by simple upgrading. We will hopefully give you the information to allow you and your governors to make an informed decision which will best suit the School.
Making ICT Simple
We see our main role as one that will relieve your staff of the burden of the ever-growing list of ICT technical problems. These problems will not diminish but will only increase as a direct result of the increase of ICT in other curriculum areas and the drive to provide yet more ICT equipment into schools.
Interm IT's aim in this role is to give your staff the confidence to include the use of ICT in lesson-planning, by endeavouring to ensure that your pupils and staff can:
- Turn on the equipment and see it functioning correctly.
- Access the internet and other programs.
- Print their work.
- Save and retrieve their work.
We believe these 4 points are the simple cornerstones for the provision of ICT in schools |
