IT we have two predetermined aims in providing our service to schools.
Technical
Support Role
We see our
main role as one that will relieve your staff of the burden of the
ever-growing list of ICT
technical problems. These problems will not diminish but will only
increase as a direct result of the increase
of ICT in other curriculum areas and the drive to provide yet more
equipment into schools.
Our AIM in this role is to give your staff the confidence to include the
use of ICT in lesson-planning across the curriculum, by endeavouring to
ensure that your pupils and staff can:
1:
Turn on the equipment and see it functioning correctly.
2:
Use the hardware and software that compliments the equipment.
3: Print and save their
work
4: Access the internet.
We believe these four items are the simple cornerstones for technical
support.
