One product which is not privileged to those schemes is the eBeam by Luidia. This product is endorsed by County and is a financially better alternative. This product can successfully convert your existing whiteboard into an interactive one with a minimum of fuss. The eBeam can do everything that the interactive whiteboards can do and comes with a complete set of electronic pens and an electronic board eraser. The product cost £365.00 + VAT and needs no installation, it is powered by the USB port on your laptop or PC and a simple CD installation is all that is required to have the product operational. However, there is no curriculum software that comes with the package so will need to consult your curriculum software advisor for direction. There is also a wireless eBeam which uses Bluetooth technology although this is approximately £200 more expensive
